Milestone Wood Fired Pizza: Exceptional Thin-Crust Pies in Thomaston

My wife and I frequent this place pretty often. The pizza is always fantastic. My wife enjoys salads often, she’s made it clear she does not enjoy their salads. I like the grinders every once in a while, however they’ve been insanely inconsistent, won’t be doing that again unfortunately. I highly recommend this place, for pizza ONLY

Pie is incredible! Place is simple, fast and perfection. BYOB but there are a few close package stores. I have had a ton of pizza all over the country try and state. This is a must try!

We like milestone a lot, it’s typically our go to because the food is usually consistent. We love that it is BYOB and typically will share an app, salad and pasta dish. The portions are always large with plenty leftover if you’re not sharing. The pizza is thin crust, wood fired which i absolutely love! It is always best when you have it there, but sometimes we do take it to go. When I get home the thin crust gets a little soggy so I put it on my pizza stone for a few seconds in a very hot oven to crisp it back up and it’s always perfect.

I love a wood fired oven pizza. Thin crust with a crispy underside. Friends recommended the Milestone Pizza house in Thomaston, CT. My wife and I, along with the couple that had such high regard for this pizza, went on a Saturday early evening. We ordered a large tomato and garlic and a large bacon and potato pie. The place is on the small side but very clean and neat. Reminded me of restaraunts in the North End in Boston. Friendly staff greeted us. The restaurant is byob which is awesome! So we had brought our own beer and wine. Talk about a money saving option! Our pizzas arrived very quickly and as my pictures show - literally the perfect pies! Delicious doesn't begin to describe the flavors of both. Perfectly cooked, loaded with toppings, and thin sliced with crispy crust! These guys at Milestone know how to make the perfect pie!! The menu is extensive, but we were there for great pizza and friendship - and there was no shortage of either! Do yourself a favor and try Milestone in Thomaston. Take pics, laugh, bring a good chianti or ale, and get ready for a delicious, mouth-watering treat!

First time here and wow, thank god for good pizza around this area. Just like you would imagine, charcoal flavor, light and chewy crust, and packed with flavor. Tried the chicken cutlet white pizza with roasted cherry peppers, chicken cutlets and caramelized onion. Super flavorful. And of course had to get a traditional cheese pizza, sauce was great tasting and over all a satisfying dinner, can't wait to come back

All I can say is WOW. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Their pizza is absolutely incredible- New Haven style (my personal favorite) . The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was piping hot when I received it- which obviously is the best. 10/10!

Delicious pizza! My husband was raised on New Haven pizza and said Milestone definitely meets his expectations! The staff are very friendly and when we order two large pizzas they are usually ready in fifteen minutes. Whether taking out or eating in your tastebuds will thank you! They also have Foxon Park soda

I eat a lot of pizza. It's getting harder and harder to find a pie that truly impresses...I found that pie at Milestone. This IS NOT NEAPOLITAN pizza; there is no flop, there is a little char. The crust is smokey and cooked to perfection. The ratios of sauce, cheese, and dough are excellent. I had a chat with some of the employees- they were friendly and fun to talk to. Go to Milestone and try the pizza. Eat it right out of the oven, don't let it die in the box. It's in my top-10 in CT...not quite sure where exactly.
